The DTS solar powered radio box operates without commercial power or communications lines. It is ideally suited for remote locations that require emergency communication but lack access to public utilities.
The DTS can be configured to operate as a one-way radio transmitter or a two-way radio transceiver. The two-way configuration allows the system to be used for command and control functions that are well suited for industrial, institutional, and military applications.
Solar powered DTS units are available with dry contact inputs for zone alarm or other status reporting, and programmable relay outputs — bringing reliable emergency communication to parks, playgrounds, recreation areas, remote campuses, and any location beyond the reach of commercial power.

When used with the TRX50 Emergency Reporting System, the DTS output relays can be used to activate live or prerecorded voice communication to outdoor areas, specific buildings, groups of buildings, or throughout an entire city, military complex, campus, or industrial/institutional facility.
This integration extends SigCom's end-to-end emergency reporting and wide area mass notification platform to completely off-grid locations — no power lines, no communications infrastructure required.
