Emergency Signals
Hazardous Area Amplified Speakers – AMH Series
Hazardous Area Amplified Speakers – AMH Series
AMH Series signals are high output, continuous-duty amplified speakers for industrial signaling and fire alarm applications in hazardous areas. AMH Series signals draw extremely low power from the audio system while producing audio reproduction up to 107 dBA.
Each AMH Series signal features a rugged speaker cone and a projector built with spun aluminum. The amplification, power management, and other internal circuitry are built into a rugged die-cast aluminum housing which is sealed with powder coat paint and includes dust- and moisture-proof gaskets.
Product Details
The AMH Series is engineered specifically for hazardous location environments where standard amplified speakers cannot be used. The rugged die-cast aluminum housing and sealed construction make the AMH Series suitable for use in areas with flammable gases, vapors, or combustible dust.
AMH Series amplified speakers use the speaker-level output of a new or existing audio or fire alarm system to produce high-decibel voice messages or tone signals. Typical applications include emergency warning, plant evacuation, process control, and public address signaling in oil refineries, chemical plants, marine environments, and other hazardous locations.
Available in 24 VDC (AMH-24) and 120 VAC (AMH-120) versions to suit a wide range of power supply configurations.
