DVS+ Voice/ Tone Evacuation Control Panel

Woburn, MA – August 2004 – The DVS+ from Signal Communications Corporation is a Voice /Tone Evacuation Control Panel, that includes all of the functionality and features required to provide a complete, high-efficiency, digital power evacuation system for use in life safety and other emergency applications. The features and options are designed to provide outstanding performance and reliability while allowing for simple installation.

The DVS+offers a number of unique features such as, field selectable Class A or B speaker loops (1-2); intelligent 50 Watt back-up amplifier module which backs up any module in the system; intelligent audio output overload protection; up to 14 messages (30 second duration) of pre-recorded digital voice; serial interface to any microprocessor-based Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP).

The system is pre-engineered in any configuration to include up to four 50 Watts amplifier modules for a total of 200 Watts of output power. Using zone boards, the output power can be divided into a maximum of 20 Class A or Class B supervised speaker circuits. Any amplifier module can be designated as the backup module by simply programming its identification number using switches. Each amplifier module is capable of delivering 50 Watts at 25 or 70.7 Vrms.

The DVS+ is installer-friendly. Only a minimum amount of external connections are required to get the system up and running.
